Hoi zaryans, I just wanted to vent about my current status, currently failing my uni classes and just had a clash with my little brother (last time it happened I went to court but even he agreed it was bullshit so we settled).
My dad won't give me one penny or one piece of advice, or even a hug, I see him like one time every two months and it's always depressing, I just stare at the wall for hours after interacting with him.
Where do I go from here, I don't think I have goals, I live to follow God and not be a burden to the rest but I even fail at that, genuinely don't see myself in the future.

i was going through some old project files and i found the source code for a desktop buddy similar to that konata dancer thing. it was never finished because i cant into art or anything like that. supposed to play a gif at the corner of the windows taskbar.
would anyone be willing to do some gifs and help me finish this? should be quick to roll out once i got some art gifs to work with. 207 x 243 seems to be about the res i found perfect and is the res of the placeholder gif i have right now. i would prefer 8bit or whatever so retro thing but anything would honestly help and i cannot be picky.

They don't, user agents aren't unique enough to do that, usually the user agent will show that the request comes from Windows in the latest version and Chrome in the latest version, you ban it and pph drops by 1/3, what they do instead is canvas fingerprinting and detecting the browser version through browser-specific events like onmozfullscreenchange or gestureend.

i think the playstyles are not that meaningfully different to be a problem for player experience
the design is: earn enough cookies, buy what you want, no external variables like your tree level to think of
this is simple and works very well as an incentive to actually play the game, the fact that you can earn something instead of getting it right away is much more rewarding
and it's already like 600 cookies total to get every way to play, come on

farming big combos is not required to earn cookies quickly, one x10 pays just as much as ten x1s, even if you fail you earn the same
so the difference would be in how quickly you can hit the doll, in which case the lighter should be better after all
the reason you fail your combo a lot using the lighter is because it is balanced such that you couldn't put the doll in a corner and cheese big combos by doing nothing (althoughbeit with the sawblade you can still consistently hit x30s doing just that)
you have to follow the doll with your mouse or finger as it jumps around more chaotically each hit
combo was meant to be a skill mechanic, so that your best score is an achievement instead of just a statistic, and you could play and have fun even after buying everything
but because of this not all weapons were created equal, the only weapons you can reliably express your skill in are tap weapons, if other weapons were not nerfed by narrow timers they could easily get you x100+ with no skill, and that would defeat the whole point of achievement
