All of these years, there was no point, and no purpose, to all of the posting, all of the bumping, all of the saving, defending, creation of gems or all of the singular moments spent caring about 'zellig.
It hurts to have the illusion broken, surely, but it aches to know that some of the lowest life-forms on Earth have just been vindicated, proven correct in the face of old fans who had the heart to care infinitely more about this show than anyone else ever could.

I look at my 'zellig folder in disgust, realizing that every. single. artist. even the good ones, have drawn or done stuff that doesn't sit well, at all. Even my favorite ones from years past, all guilty. And now I can't enjoy anything, because of this bad apple association.
Just because 'zellig is intrinsically a part of /qa/ and the like doesn't feel like enough any more, it seriously feels like we've slapped a swastika on a tranny meme out of spite and called it ours, not to mention how badly 'jakking is dead. That's how it feels in 2025.
Everyone on Earth would be better off if 'zellig didn't exist.

Hello, I go by the name “Leakage” (at least here) for privacy reasons. The last time I posted about us (the team) working on a secret production/continuation of Ongezellig I was ridiculed, but in their defense I have not provided any evidence of that production. Just to recap, the whole Update 130 was a hoax, the reason Sam did it is unknown to us. (Foenkie probably knows, but being the way he is we don’t bother asking him) Ongezellig got picked up by a major studio and Sam still hates the internationals. All that aside I FINALLY have some sort of proof (the name of the studio was vague for reasons I don’t want to get into right now). For those desperate to know when something is going to happen, look around late 2025 - early 2026. If any of you have any questions, go ahead and ask. Stay strong and God bless.

The entire point of this hoax was basically just “What if Massa was lying about the cancellation of Ongezellig, and was secretly still working on it” to give the fans that believe Ongezellig is coming back a false sense of hope.
