Happy Ongezellig Day everyone. The pilot (deels 2-6 at least) took place six years ago today. Should we do something to celebrate?

I just finished watching Ongezellig, a Dutch cartoon that I thought was just a simple slice of life but it turned out to have a deep meaning.
What I learned from it is that sometimes you don't have to be "happy" or "sociable" to say you're okay. It's normal to get tired of people, expectations, and yourself.
Like Maya, there are days when you just want to be alone but that doesn't mean you don't deserve to be loved or understood.
And I like MyMy, she's chaotic but real, the type who's not afraid to tell the truth even if it's harsh at times.
It's just a shame that she wasn't popular and was discontinued, maybe because it's a Dutch cartoon so the audience is a bit limited.
Ongezellig taught me that it's okay to be "not okay" sometimes.
Why couldn’t massa just continue Ongezellig in comic form during his free time. I know he said he thought it was coal but that was 2018, he can definitely do better now

Maya has got me feeling some type of way I've never felt before. She is everything I could ever want, timid but has a personality, cute and sweet, those green eyes, black hair, fair skin and her background. It sucks so much knowing no one like her exists IRL. I can't see anything related to her that I just get this heavy feeling in my chest. Why can't there be someone like her IRL? She's got this whole vibe that's so appealing, get it? The way she struggles with her ADD, how she's sometimes a bit childish, her insecurities and daydreaming, always in that red hoodie and thigh-high socks, it's all just so charming and comforting.
It's demotivating as hell, and it's messing with my drive to do anything, she has completely burned my brain. I can't feel attracted to any girl, I have no more drive for doing anything, what's the point? Maya isn real afterall. She makes me feel empty and hopeless in a way I have never felt before. It's like I've set this impossible standard for real-life relationships based on a character that doesn't even exist. I have never had to deal with this before, so I may have noticed it too late, but I've tried distracting myself with other things, other activities, but nothing works. I keep coming back to her, to Ongezellig, rewatching it and consuming everything related to her, it's like a vicious cycle. The more I watch, the more attached I get, and the more it hurts knowing she's not real, I've even started daydreaming about meeting someone like her, but it just feels so far-fetched, why couldn't I have been a Mymy/Cocofag? All the scenes she's portrayed in, when shes daydreaming and lets her hair down imagining a different world, it makes me feel like I'm seeing the real her, the part she keeps hidden from everyone else. Those small, intimate glimpses into her make her feel so real and relatable even if I don't have a similar life, and yet she's just a figment of some 30yr old Dutch guy imagination. It's so hard to stay motivated, I feel like I'm losing my grip on reality

A new petje update released a couple of minutes ago. After "The combination of a burnout, a new life stage, a difficult pitch phase, a limited support and a successful side" and 4 years, Massa is cancelling the monthly ongezellig illustrations, and with it, any and all potential for more ongezellig content whatsoever.
<Thank you again to everyone who contributed. I hope you are still happy with the results that you have been able to make true. Remember, Ongezellig not as a failed pilot, but as a successful short film.

Reunion. 5/10: It's ok, the pacing is kinda quick for what it's trying to do, and it feels the needs to explain everything instead of letting the reader interpret it.

Death and Reborn, 7/10: I would've given this a 9, but I re-read it and realized it wasn't as good as I remembered. I do like the concept, but it also suffers from bad initial pacing and overexplaining. Also it was assisted with AI and it kinda shows in some parts, but it didn't hinder how I felt about it. Pretty decent, but it could be better
10 Dutch Days, 2/10: Really annoying dialogue. They won't shut up about the stupid game Maya played, and mentioning important things which are never brought up again. Everything feels forced, and I just don't care about any of the characters. It's a decent concept, having the personalities of Coco and Maya somewhat swapped (doe Maya still kinda has anxiety), but it's so poorly executed I can't give it any higher than a 2/10

Tipping Point, 6/10: Coco hits Maya cause she got mad over an insult. The family kinda collapses from there. It's not finished yet so idk how it's gonna end. Decent storytelling though it's not very descriptive, and has pretty akward dialogue at times. Also Coco acts really out of character in this, and the Eiko plotline is shoved in which completely derails the entire thing.
Project Ongezoid, -3 Thrembillion/10: One of the only Zellig Fanfics on Watpad. I would've given it a 9/10, but for SOME REASON, THE CREATOR MADE AN AMAZING AND kinda EMOTIONAL STORY, AND DECIDED TO MAKE THE ENDING "IT WAS ALL A DREAM!!" WHY??? IT WAS SO FUCKING GOOD AND YOU RUINED IT YOU SELFISH NIGGER

I'll also probably post any project files for anyone who's interested in my recreations or wants to pitch in and post anything you might find interesting about zellig's sounds.
<REDDIT SPACE Some things of note: >Massa seems to mostly use pre-built/default presets that came with FL Studio or whatever 3rd Party plugin he may happen to use. So that's something to keep in mind when looking for 'lig instruments.
>From the few 3rd Party plugins we do know he uses (Sonatina Orchestra, Synth1, M-Box), they all seem to be hosted on "PLUGINS 4 FREE" (https://plugins4free.com/) when searching them up. So it may be possible that's where Massa got most of his music plugins from.
