What started with the first two cartoons, the only two i actually do like, as silly parodies grew into something that felt the arbitrary need to continue one-upping the one before it, and neglecting the kinds of jokes and stuff i actually did like to make. short and simple 5 minute narratives about silly and absurd issues became 6-7 (HAHAHAHA) minute long animationss that needed to tell some FORCED MESSAGE OR WHATEVER, and it being tongue in cheek barely excuses it. And this right here is rthe culmination of that. The zenith, the absolute climax, add another adjective here. If i had the amazing powers of time travel i would have never made the cartoons from june onwards, and left it at the first two. While there are some ideas i like in cartoons post-mymy's big freaking dilemma, i still cannot look at the rest of them and think, "wow, i sure am glad i made that". I do with the first two, not with the rest. I dont even know how i feel about this one. It probably exudes of issues with pacing or uh, editing or just being very disjointed. I made this over like 10 days, but it felt more like 5 really long days. I am tired. But whatever, that's life right? Watch the last SLOP i'll ever make. Thanks! Bye bye! I just re-watched the whole series and here are my final thoughts about the cartoon.
Overall the episodes were enjoyable but got less inspired and interesting as time went on. The first two were the best by far in terms of humor and plot, although the plot was solid for them all, apart from the last one which felt forced.
One thing which is noticeable is that the amount of effort put into each episode decreased over time. The first few episodes were filled with little jokes and references in the backgrounds which were entertaining to pause and find them, but after episode 3 there rarely were any. I said before that something was off with the newer episodes, and Oniondweller stating that he wasn't that interested anymore in making them later on explains the drop in quality and the loss of detail.
Nonetheless, it is still an entertaining project that had funny moments in all episodes.
