Okay but it was MY nigger okay? i had fun there with all of the people fighting a free for all and all of the spam. It was fun in the sense of eating food you found in the garbage and it tasting good. NEWNIGGERS WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND.
yeah but it didn't have tension between posters actually fighting over which one would dominate the 'log
Ehhhh, I wouldn't know, it was pretty diverse in the sense everyone avatarfagged
I was there i was a shemmycuck nigga it was boring as hell nothing like the old sharty /qa/
the only thing the two shared was that they had a love for NAS but that's about it
i want to live
yes why dont we walk you over to your new room in this enclosed empty chamber come on in
this but unironically sharty /qa/ was a good board for a while

it was a really good board. The thing is, however, that board was good only in the context of kuz/early doll era sharty. It was this bar on the side of the main road, where you would come and talk about anything else that wasnt ias or soft nas, but still was a part of the culture and interests of the site back then. Doll making some rules that isolated /soy/ and the other borads started the slow death of /qa/.
I dont see any point of a /qa/ splinter. It woudnt be the same, if it was the "center of the site".
Oh hey I know you, I think I read the bar post some time ago, and I can only say trvthnvke, but it is what it is Zaryan, we only have ourselves now

My apologies, but can you remind me of what that post was? I think i made such analogy during doll era, but it was a long time ago (time flies by hahaha!).

Interestingly enough, /qa/ during doll era sharty had its own charm. It was a low pph board and people would focus on a few threads, depending on their subculture.
You had this "minority" vibe. By this i mean that you were a part of a small group and you had a stronger connection with people, even if they were "anonymous". Since Red (or however that guy who deleted the AI threads and the "30 day stay = /zellig/" thread was named) was targeting zelligaryans and Doll was basically opening the gates to migrants, that connection got stronger.
But yeah, Doll screwed us (as in soyteens) pretty well. I am sad that tribalism became a thing. Before that, i would compare the sharty to a country that had a strong national identity, but you still could observer regional identities/ subcultures as well. It was beautiful. Not perfect, but still.

Indeed. I think that the removal of the "5 board" doctrine on the sharty was a huge mistake. As more boards got created, /qa/ started to loose its charm and purpose and at one point it became a namefaggin place with SNCA.
I still hated how the new mods and some people would tell me that 5b plan was a failure. It was one of the things that kept the site organic. They would argue that Kuz coudnt even keep up with his own plan, which i do agree to some degree. I do not know why /int/ and /pol/ were separate boards, when they were basically the same.
It was a post about how /qa/ was like a side bar where you could rest after posting on /soy/ for long, very similar to the one you just made

I think i was the one, yes. But i think that i was also talking about how /qa/ SHOULD be treated as, since Doll was starting to add new boards.
Man, i wish there was a public archive of that era. The only thing i have is screenshots and a few videos.
