Since I go to the wageslave factory this Monday, what gaming laptop do I buy once I'm able to afford it? Or do I just build a PC? How?

My current laptop is an Ideapad from college, and i've already got the ram upgraded to 12 gigs (8gb to add to the 4gb soddered), and my brother gave it a 1 tb NVME. I cant upgrade anything else, given the integrated graphics and the CPU are soddered in. I'll consider the used Thinkpad, considering that based on what I've read about it, it's pretty modular and I can stick into it many upgradeable things. The T14 gen 6 looks ideal.

Maybe after I move onto a better paying job once I'm done with my current one.

>>144485 don't get a thinkpad made after 2018, they are dogshit in terms of repairability

tell me a single drawback to getting a modern thinkpad t series other than youre too poor to afford new hardware

modern thinkpads are some of the most repairable laptops you can buy, used or new.
https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Lenovo_ThinkPad_T14_Gen_6
the only thing that lowers its score from a 10/10 is that i cant replace the cpu which hasnt been a feature on laptops since 20 years ago. apart from that modern thinkpads are 10x faster, stronger, better keyboards (even compared to classic), faster charging, bigger batteries etc etc

to answer OPs question, get a framework laptop if you want a laptop that you can slowly upgrade over the next 10 years and are willing to pay a premium. if you want something to just last you 4 or so years (but can last much longer) get a thinkpad t14. the gen6 come out a few weeks ago but its better value for money to get a gen5 on sale or gen4 are dirt cheap now. theyre all extremely repairable and will do anything you need it to. dont listen to faggots trying to convince you to get a 8 year old dual core thinkpad thats been came on hundreds of times
