What did you use to draw this? Do you use a pen or did you use your mouse?
Then just a tip and you'll get better in no time, if you go to class or you have free time sketch something anything and mostly use something as reference, after a while you'll start to know how to better draw characters and maybe even develop your own style
its clear you have a lot of passion and love for art, so heres some tips. for maya, and the human female body in general, you just need to improve the anatomy and make the artstyle a little less cartoony in my opinion, such as her neck (which is way too long and skinny), face(which is quite circular) and body. Maya is a skinny girl who wears baggy clothes, so when you’re drawing her with her jumper, try and make her hands and shoulders more bony and smaller than her jumper. Also, improve your lineart by attempting to make it more consistent, as it’s quite visible where you use a bigger brush and a smaller brush, mainly on her left and right arms.
You can also improve her hair by doing this, try to make it more messy and a little more subtle by reducing the brush size and messier, with sharp almost triangular edges rather than just brush strokes. Using a lighter shade of black than the one you use can also help as it blends in with your line art. You can also try and diversify the colours by using shading. Also, try to make her posture more dynamic, as she looks pretty stiff, and by using a reference from other artists. I wish you well, MayaGOD
Passion is the life force of the drawGOD I used to draw since I was 6 and the only thing that bothers me is the learning more geometrical drawing strategies than actual anatomy, do follow these tips
Kek, mayakeks can't draw!
Ahem, don't listen to these fags above, this art is retarded and ugly. This is why you must learn stuff so your art could look at least appropriate. Good luck, newlig.
Apologies if it sucks, don't have too much time as I have work in about an hour.
Finished! Did some referencing and tracing; also used layers to really help with better drawing. Not the greatest; but I hope y'all love it.
I'd suggest using a lasso fill tool to color out your drawings and raise Coco's arms higher. I would also recommend using bases like these to start out your sketches in order to keep them anatomically accurate and start drawing on the chatacters using this as a guideline. Im trans btw, Im a xitter artist btw
