For context "he pissed me off but made up for it in the end" was because he never got a response from Rod about a drawfag request with that chicken guy from Hotline Miami with Maya until like 2 threads ago. I'm not sure why he felt like tacking that on in the end

Artists don't feel like taking requests from every anon, and it's probably been that way since the inception of drawthreads there.

Long ago, someone - speculated to be a staff member - spammed it on 4chan's /qa/ board which produced the fanbase as it existed before I joined, but how it came to be before that is ambiguous. One of the first threads on 4chan's /co/ board was made three days after the first part published (in 2018) so it's likely the creator or an associate attempted it as advertising but we have no tangible evidence to prove such.

At least, unlikely until a month and a half ago when we started making so much cursed stuff.

100% agree. It was supremely fulfilling for a while and it still brings me joy and motivation, but it's not as substantial as I thought; I said something to that effect in the description.
