>I only discovered Ongezellig yesterday and I loved it, I showed it to my friends and they also loved it and doing more research I learned that supposedly the show attracted a notable 4-chany troll kind of fanbase and I can see why. Even rumors that these kinds of fans are partially why the creator dropped the show.

>First there was created soyjack party, basically 4chan for 4channers who were constantly on /qa/ before it was closed, so it's like 4chan but worse. Then some dudes created a zellig party as analogue (which is horrible naming, mind you, cause ongezellig is two parts - On (anti) and Gezellig (comfy), so zellig doesn't make any sense as a word). Basically zaryans are like the worst of the worst of 4channers combined with ongezellig hyperfixation
