>Never have I met a more extreme case of "Good show bad fandom" than Ongezellig. Srsly man those soyjacks & 4Channers ruined the entire series (which quite literally is one of the best animated series's I've ever seen, even if it's cancelled mid way)

It is important not to rely, but to use teh chuds. They are doing the same.

Mostly they are obsessed with Mymy and contort it into her character into being a symbol for their bigotry, and are minor community based reason it has taken a while for the show to gain some popularity. They loved trying to gatekeep the show from people they consider normies, but their influence has started to wane as evidenced by their failed attempt to raid this subreddit on Coco’s birthday last week. If they were not as vocal early on the show might have gained more traction.
