I was worried this might've been the reaction, as it was NAZ, but I thought >>95331 was a funny 'toss the effort of which deserved praise. The other candidate for the sticky was >>95118, but I was pretty sure I had already stickied a thread by that poster at one point (do let me know if this is incorrect), so I wanted to give someone else a chance. Some weeks will simply be slower than others, I knew this already.
The idea was: during the week of one thread being stickied - contestants for the next sticky are being posted, then on the following friday another thread is stickied for the duration of that week. This makes it so threads get the full week exposure of being stickied, instead of just a couple days until the week ends. You're free to elect your own candidates for future stickies.

All in all - this is just a little fun side activity to take part in and look forward to on a weekly basis. It's shouldn't be taken too seriously, as it's all meant to encourage fun (and maybe a little competition), but most of all effortposting!
