IAS isn't dictated by how good or popular something is, it's dictated by the fact if it's a soyjak or not. i am not denying it's SHARTY culture, however it has NO place on /soy/, as /soy/ is exclusively for soyjaks. there is a reason why it isn't just "/sharty/" or "/general/" or whatever.
The moment Chudjak was accepted as IAS was the moment the term lost all meaning
chudjak is indisputably NAS, but he is very culturally connected to soy culture so it has IAS privileges
With the modern rules it's true, /soy/ is for soyjaks only and therefore 'zellig on its own should be disallowed like anything else.
HOWEVER new/soy/ is now filled to the brim with "IAS" coal because of there being no containment for NAS.
A lot of people like to cope that IAS coal is better than NAS coal but its the same analogy as comparing trash and garbage, they are the same.

I would also like to share that one thing I loved about Kuz era sharty is that a few sharty culture NAS threads were allowed on /soy/. This allowed for some interaction between the boards (which were something like 5). It made the site more alive and fun. I don't agree with the "IAS only rule". It basically isolated /soy/ from the other boards.
It's also cancer, since almost nobody can agree what is an IAS and what is a NAS.
