Since today is the 1 year anniversary of Update 130, I want to hear what you Zaryans would've done if you were in Studio Massas shoes during the production of Ongezellig.

i would sit and think if animation is too hard to make, and if i find it too hard then i would instead make aguguzellig with more basic animation and no dialogue just gugu then sell the show to babyTV

I truly still dont understand his problem with using crowd funding that isnt petje.af, even if there were occasional scams with credit cards along with any other complaints wouldn't it have been better in the long run to let as many people as possible have the chance to donate?
feels like allowing a wider audience for donates would've cancelled any of that out as the show got more popular.

To be fair, he did nothing wrong. The show lived and lived happily only due to the fact it was entirely dutch. His rejection of the international fans had nothing to do with the discontinuation

Make a Patreon and post comics and audio dramas to it, even if they aren't part of the official canon. Make official English, French, and Japanese translations. Make a merch store. Reanimate the series into a single episode after Deel 6. Make a variety of series and season outlines for pitches, each with their own high concept. Be more transparent about development. Drop more hints about Maya Mails and the journal entries. Make more content that isn't centered around Maya, especially if I don't want every episode to be about her. Post illustrations of the insides of the sisters' rooms for waifufags and to lay the foundations for future episodes. Post illustrations of the inside of every character's room so people become more invested in side characters and how they could interact with the sisters. Post a layout of the Schopenboer house and where their classmates live in relation to them. Develop a better relationship with the VAs so they would lend themselves for joke audios that fans could laugh about and share with friends. Make and release more music related to the series, such as a song for Running in the 60s and alternate covers of the theme. Make comics or animations where the sisters explain references to Dutch culture and history used in the series for outsiders and Dutch natives. Try to connect with Dutch and Dutch-adjacent companies for promotional material. Make something like Maya Mails for Mymy's sister.
