It can be any place, of which there are plenty in the Netherlands.
The school scenes may take place on the outskirts of Amsterdam. The proof may be, for example, Cato, who wears a headband with the coat of arms of this city in her hair.
Just about every town in the Netherlands looks like that, although the shape of the Church spire could be a lead. However there are some 7000 churches in the Netherlands.
We can perhaps rule out Drenthe and Noord-Brabant considering how these two provinces are used and discussed in the show.
I think analysing architecture of the school building and comparing it to building styles of the provences in real life could be useful.
I suppose it's time to go searching.

Yfke's leggings have a Friese flag pattern, Cato could just be proud of the city, maybe her family was originally from there. Similarly to Yfke wearing her heritage in her leggings. So going by the clothing of the characters won't norrow much down.

This shot from Maya's Sweet Sixteen suggests to me that they do live in the village. It seems rather similar, especially with the position and spire of the church. Could be just a reused design though.
I don't think the girls take the bus to get to school. We only see the bus twice: once in a flashback, and once in Maya's Conversation. In the former, we see much of the class, but in the latter, it's just Maya. The girls are never actually shown getting on or off the bus, and it isn't shown when the girls leave after their presentations are graded.
I theorize that the flashback with the bus is from some school trip, whilst in Maya's Conversation she is heading into the city(as the boy from the comic ends up at a deathgrips concert, probably held in an urban area).
In the flashback where most of the class is visible on the bus, it could probably be a school trip to the center or another popular place there.
Isn't he doxxed already? I'm quite sure I saw his face posted here.

Sorry Zaryans. I just came back from church and this is what I get greeted with in the report page. I apologize for not doing my duties in time, and may my salary be deduced down by 50% because of it.
I also wish for God's wrath to be unleased on the 'p spammers in due time.
Schools can be located in a variety of places, including smaller towns and forest areas, depending on the needs of the local community. The education system in the Netherlands is supervised by the Education Inspectorate and includes a variety of learning paths that are tailored to the individual needs and abilities of students.
Yes, and this fact helps our search IF the school is based on real life. Narrowing our search to schools on het platteland next to a forest area is the biggest lead we've got. I really hope this isn't a nothingwafel and actually goes somewhere.
PoleGOD please don't be such a moskal (don't confuse the "r" with "p" you know)

Churches with distinctive architecture like the one seen in the photo are often found in the southern provinces of the Netherlands, such as North Brabant and Limburg. These regions are known to have higher numbers of Catholics, which may influence the style and frequency of such churches. Moreover, Protestants predominate in the northern part of the country and on the coast, which may also have an impact on the local architectural landscape. As for the specific style of the church in the photo, without additional details it is difficult to determine its exact location.
Satisfied, will you continue to moan?
