there's a lot so I will say this:
there is a difference when it comes to communities that allow and disallow minors. different topics are discussed, people react in different ways etc. I prefer to interact with "grown ups".

is/ought problem + cartoon =/= its for minors + the club isnt ongezellig focused (i presume you are talking about the club, not the zarty), its an original content creation site, where people can make or talk about mature things (something not being hardcore porn doesnt make it automatically suitable for underaged users + you cannot expect the same value of opinion/interaction).
That being said, indeed in theory a user can lie about his age. I have limits when it comes to moderation, hence the "we do not recommend underage users to lurk here". Officially allowing minors would mean revolving moderation around that. They lie and stay, it's their fault if something happens. If they act mature, then ok.
18 isnt a magical number, I agree. There's also the note below the punishments (which you cut out in your screenshot) that says that the rules are general, not specific. In other words, each individual situation requires an individual solution, and, for example, if there is somebody who is 17,92399329 years old and i dont find him immature, acting too edgy or something else, I aint gonna ban him.

go ahead, but keep in mind you aint gonna change my opinion. The general rule is no minors allowed and it stays. Not every community has to be a daycare center.

Yes, i got back home yesterday. I will check later if its about paying da joos my daily debt.
RN i am a bit busy with irl snca stuff everybody cares about, so semi-apologies if i am not active enough. I will say, we did make a bit of threads, which is good. If users post their OC (there were i think one or two guys who had bigger projects in mind), then we can try to make an "advertisement" for the club (as well as enable invites for account creation).

keep in mind this isnt like the zarty, where i was a 19 y/o with a lot of free time and almost no other responsibilities. Perhaps it will be a good idea to put enough money to autopay for the next month (in case i aint available). RN i am in a dynamic situation and i hope i will settle things out.
