I'm just saying if he loves open source and Luke Smith so much he should abide by jschan's license and provide source code. The license says any software that is public facing over a network needs to provide the source code if it has been modified to its all its users.
Luke Smith provides all his scripts and website files for his projects and dotfiles and zoot links Luke Smith at the top when you click 'very cool website'. It seems very performative if you ask me.

Licenses exist for a reason, it's very easy to say you love free and open source software and Luke Smith or whatever when you can use it for yourself, but the story changes when you actually have to abide by your convictions and adhere to licenses and provide your own work for free.

Any problems that could be attributed to an underage user (faggotry, trannyisms ect) could be applied to most other forms of niggertry which is already policed, a sixteen year old for example shouldn't be gate-kept from ongezellig over an arbitrary rule that doesn't really make sense, someone posting porn or being an annoying sperg or spamming gore will already be banned regardless of their age, and a well behaved poster who doesn't break rules shouldn't be punished for what is essentially agefagging

That being said, indeed in theory a user can lie about his age. I have limits when it comes to moderation, hence the "we do not recommend underage users to lurk here". Officially allowing minors would mean revolving moderation around that. They lie and stay, it's their fault if something happens. If they act mature, then ok.
