this joke has been bothering for months, it left me with quite a few questions. why would masturbation, especially from a girl, cause so much audible creaking that people in adjacent rooms can hear it? does she finger herself so furiously that it rocks her? is it her legs excessively trembling and convulsing from the pleasure? is it a result of her thrusting her hips in an attempt to amplify the sensation? all of these inquiries stem from the assumption that Massa even intended this to be a joke about masturbation, and if it that wasn’t his intent, then what was he was trying to imply?

it might’ve been a red herring joke that was never fully realized, sort of like the death of Coco’s parents. we’d assume she’s doing something naughty when she’s actually doing something more innocent.
