Everything great starts with browsing imageboards, but the real test is how it fares once it "graduates" out of it, imageboards are the center of culture, and even though Twitter is extremely more popular and makes more short term stuff, the innovation comes from niche places like this. The next good webtoon will be made not by some corpo or a guy with money, but by someone who in his youth browsed these sites. We're nearing an age where soy culture or what remains of it is quickly approaching its 10 years anniversary, give it some more time and you'll see content that is directly or indirectly tied to the ibs.
