i hired yar so that my main dev can work on the imageboard software with out worrying about development on fixxing vichan things (also it is done now just needs to be tested on the hidden board to make sure everything works

The sharty uses cloudflare. Kiwifarms regularly goes down due to attacks that consume all of its bandwidth. PoW can stop a guy with a script spamming HTTP requests, but it cannot stop a proper DDoS.
