How much does it cost to keep this site running for a single day who funds this
If I remember correctly, Zoot pays 5£ per month and funds the site on his own.

For a day, it ain't much.
I have bought the site for a long time period (1 year), since I plan to use it to learn more about hosting and coding. I had to not only buy the rights for the domain, but also buy hosting servers. Overall this is around 90$ for twelve months, which is 7,45$ for a month. So money isn't a big deal.
