Or Floyd, because why not. It's not that hard in principle, create a background image, place several characters randomly, add some noise, save selected character's position, return the image. Captcha should load itself when starting typing so there is less waiting time and one click should be enough to pass it. Definitely less tiresome that what we have now.

Check if you would prefer it to the current one and if I should add something. I entertained the idea of adding proof of work for client side rate limiting for a while, but I found out it cannot be made performant enough in browser even with web assembly and if I used web assembly then datamining accusations would arise instantly as it is obfuscated by default.
