Brandt 60mm mortar crew of the 1st Cavalry Division, August 1944. This was the standard platoon support weapon. The German helmets were briefly worn by a few cavalry and A/A units in mid-1944. Note the red/yellow/blue arm bands worn in 1944-45, in order to avoid confusion with the khaki-clad Hungarians.
