Sadly, it's lost a lot of what you would normally expect from southerners, due to the globalisation of culture. I live in the Ozarks, so it's more Appalachian/Hillbilly culture-oriented. Arkansas isn't even considered the Deep South. Where I live, it's not stereotypical Southern culture. However, in the south, it's flatter and has swamps and wetlands.
