those are the ones that aren't old-old yet. when you are an old-oldfag there will come a point where you'll have to stand firm in your beliefs instead of joking around. for now, you have no idea how it feels to be an actual old-oldfag that has witnessed all kinds of weird people, the rise and fall of all kinds of online communities, witnessed the evolution of how certain ideas have effects on people, and went through and survived many phases. and to see many newfags going through the same phases you went through a decade ago, but they won't listen to you and won't take advice from you, just as how you also mocked the oldfags when you were a newfag yourself. the cycle has a way of keeping itself going. you don't understand it now, mock me all you want, but over time you will see it. it won't be the same as now, with every cycle it evolves a bit, but you will witness the newfags going through a phase they think is new and unique, you will try to explain that you went through the same things they did, try to share your experiences with them but they won't listen. i will give you the key now, whenever you feel like "giving a lesson" to someone, apply it to yourself first. if you truly believe what you know is the truth, don't just be a cowardly spectator of it and apply it to yourself first. this is the key to break the cycle. this is the crab that gets out of the bucket.
