Most people online arent any better and you need to watch out for manipulators but if you find that one person who gets you and is worth your time hold onto them and never let them go. Online friendships are always a bit weird but they can work. I had a online friend for about 4 years who really understood me but we threw that all away over some minor disagreement and its honestly one of my biggest mistakes in my life. I would rather have one good online friend than a dozen irl friends or a hundred online "friend"ships. From your other comments you dont seem to be the best mentally so find that one person, and as long as theyre not grooming you or they have poor mental health and care about you, anchor yourself to them and i promise things will get better
