Delen 2 through 6 are shown to take place on the 14th of October and Maya's phone declares that date as Monday. To determine the year the events of Ongezellig take place, first we can use Brave's (the browser Maya is seen having installed in Delen 1 and 6) very first version's release, January 20, 2016, as a lower bound. Then, in Deel 3 we can see Vera using Google Translate, and the interface shown corresponds to the web version's around the pilot's release (every iteration of the app's interface is different from that one), and considering the fact that as of November 12th, 2023, that interface has been deprecated, we can use this date as an upper bound. The only year where all 3 conditions are met is 2019, thus we can conclude that the events of the pilot take place on October 13th and 14th, 2019.
