>>111248 As far as I can infer contemporarily most people are put in ward due to trying to ack themselves or saying they'll ack themself. Though anyone could be put in for a variety of various harmful ideations, violent, suicidal, or else-wise. I believe most people don't put themselves in ward, and I guess there is a variable in validity for some placements, but I think most people have some sort of reason for being there.
