>>101836 that's probably because falling is scary. of course people who eventually stopped being suicidal are going to tell that story, but there are likely many who failed and then tried again. the fact that gas asphyxiation and wrist slitting are somewhat popular methods clearly shows that not everyone immediately regrets going through with suicide.
