so if we divide the population of the netherlands (now 18 million) into the key age audience (lets say 30% of the population see graph above) we end up with around 5.4 million people.
now we get into the weird exclusions such as only around 15-20% of dutch students report as history being their favorite subject and the already niche appeal zellig has with the average person being an extreme hit or miss thing with some people absolutely adoring it while some are neutral and other hate it
ive been rambling and i lost my thought train but in short there's no way ongezellig could have succeeded primarily on dutch funding and the current view statistics show that ongezellig really did have the best possible success when it accords to massas vision of the show
