(Just to clarify, continue, create, and make basically mean the same thing but I’ll try to be as direct as possible) Don’t mean to demoralize but make: A single 20-minute episode of Peppa Pig–style(cheap and basic) animation would cost around $100,000 to produce professionally create: If I were a sole skilled animator working 40 hours a week with no breaks, it would still take me about 6.5 months to finish just one episode So a 12-episode season would take 4 to 6 years minimum That’s basically your entire high school life and then some continue: It’s pretty much impossible to continue a show without its original writer Especially something as nuanced and personal as Ongezellig Even if I used everything I know now, it would never align with the creator’s vision And honestly, trying to force it would be a sin against creativity itself hope: Maybe you can carry it forward not by animating but by writing a book If you truly love Ongezellig with all your heart and mind, then channel that soul into a novel Each chapter could be like an episode And maybe just maybe it gets big enough to become a script for a show someday
