This is exactly what is meant by you belittling things, you reduce things to to smallest possible meaning making everything seems so simple and insignificant, but it's not and you ignore so much that's going on in the background too.
It's not just a small fee, it wasn't guaranteed for the website to be continued last September, or this September, or to even take off in the first place, it didn't just happen for no reason as you like to think, these things only happened because serious passion and dedication. Then furthermore cultivating the values that the Zarty holds which contributes to the will to continuation was delicately developed, and we exercise these values on the broader zelligsphere now. We are the reason why the zelligsphere isn't some troon dominated porn filled fandom like most are, and we should be glad we made it this way. 
The threats aren't just the csam spammers which are also becoming a bigger problem as of recently. It goes back to ongezellig being cancelled with such minimal content, as well as the the treatment under Doll and later Froot. There have been many pivot points which could have marked the end, but through dedication and will we are still standing. 
Speaking of, the next big threat is happening very soon, notice how the server space is running low, we'll see what happens but don't be surprised if the infinite pages get wiped, and we'll see what the consequences of such a large shift are.
