>>89985 I disagree. I've read Lidly's comic and have seen her other works, and by the looks of it, she seems way too comfortable to test new waters when it comes to drawing her characters. I once read in her server where she described making the cover for Book 2 as done in desperation because seh constantly redid it before settling into what we see now. It seems that not only does she have trouble with perspective, or any other angle in general, but she also has bottlenecked in her capabilities that she actively sticks to her cookie cutter method and refuses to move on from what works, because she considers it "enough." A friend and I also suspect that Lidly does not indulge in figure drawing since her characters are so statically unnerving. Overall, it's not just the difficulty of a fundemantal in art that seems to be her problem, it's her entire approach to it, and as far as I've observed, she refuses to learn to be better. The quality of her work is not hers to behold alone—she shows it to us, and I in particular say it's abysmal dogshit.
