You say at least maya's honest but how is she honest? There's not an honest bone in her body, she isn't even honest to herself. She lies about having friends, then lies to herself saying she isn't lonely, she lies about being sick on her birthday (inb4 that doesn't count because honesty doesn't mean not lying). The only reason you think she's honest is because you follow her and her internal monologue and this makes you think you understand her.
