Society has to draw the line between human and clump of cells somewhere, so why not have it be somewhere useful that increases economic attainment and reduces childbirth mortality etc. Fetuses arent even conscious in the time where they are allowed to be qborted so whats the difference between them and a sperm cell. One is just more human shaped.
