**B-NK variant:agugu, outbreak**

**Commissioner:** One year ago on May 15 2024, a research team at the Ohio Institute of Virology under leadership of ██. █████, synthesized a new variant of the B-NK virus, namely variant:agugu. This was an astonishing feat of soyence but after the initial celebration, things took a dark turn. The warning signs were clear from the start, one day after conception on May 16 2024, B-NK agugu, breached containment of the facility and infected patient-0 from which it spread further. ██. █████ took good precautions to contain the virus and prevent it from spreading even more. However, those eventually failed and ██. █████ died from the virus. The virus spread rapidly infecting many Zaryans and the consequences of this virus are concerning. This is why we have brought you in here today, dr. Soystein. We need you to find a vaccine for this virus before it reaches critical mass.

**dr. Soystein:** I understand the assignment, tell me more about B-NK and this variant.

**Commissioner:** Of course. B-NK is a highly lethal virus that can spread to almost any host and mutates quickly to form new variants. A common symptom after long term infection is black lung which eventually leads to death. B-NK is transmitted through respiration and the virus forms growths around the mouth. Variant:agugu is the most contagious and lethal variant of B-NK we've seen so far. It's gotten out of control very fast.

**dr. Soystein:** Okay, but what do you mean by critical mass?

**Commissioner:** Well, we have calculated that by May 16 of this year, the virus will have infected enough people to completely wipe out humanity with no chance of being stopped. This is an urgent situation and we need you to act fast.

**dr. Soystein:** And you only reach out to me now! One week to find a solution is an insane demand!

**Commissioner:** Yes we understand that this situation is desperate, but you are the only mind who could solve this. Before we contacted you, we tasked another agent to combat the virus. His name was █████, alias Agulee. He was unsuccessful in his mission and recently passed away due to complications from the virus, poor soul. You're our last chance at saving the Zaryan race from extinction.

**dr. Soystein:** It sounds like it is already fucked beyond saving.

**Commissioner:** We'll pay you 10 times the janny payroll for life to take on this task.

**dr. Soystein:** Deal.

**Commissioner:** We'll give you the research findings of Agulee for you to look through, study them and from there on out you will have to continue the research and develop the vaccine. Best of luck dr. Soystein.
