Imageboard spaces definitely feels odd with this style of shitposting, the dopamine hit from imageboards comes from making threads which get replies or replies that get (you)s. Soyquotes on their own don’t get replies unless it’s very funny or has a lot of effort put into it. On the kway you would get replies as half the board hates soyjaks and thus would seethe at it. However the sharty and its splinters are NOT they kway they are sites built specifically for soyjak shitposting therefore you want have seething 4troons in your ‘jak posts thus you won’t get that dopamine hit from making those threads as you won’t get replies. This is likely the reason soy culture has slowly abandoned soyquotes since the kway shut down replaced with seriousposting as that is what gets replies .
Of course there is ways to get replies with soyquotes (chudjak bait or mixing interests into it to start a conversation) but serious posting seems to get more attention and is easier.
