I am going to watch the rest of the show in the following days, but the simple fact that we have a character who looks and acts EXACTLY like Mymy should make your pattern recognition ability go crazy

Yes, but probably about the idea of a show, not the exact designs and some of the characterization. Because the design from Maya is a mix of Tomoko, Mayo and whatever that character Mitchell is called. Again, it doesn't help that the suspiciously Maya looking character talks about ADD, that's already 2 big coincidences, but I will have to watch the rest of the show first
