From what I have observed, it's primarily a case of superiority complex stemming from parts of both communities.
Certain members of both /co/ and the Zarty are convinced that their approach to enjoying content like Ongezellig is the objectively superior one and require near tranny-levels of validation to sustain the superiority complex, that's why they can't help but sperg and remind everyone how wholesome 100 they are, and how they're total opposite of those cringe Schizophrenic Nazi Incels/Degenerate Dysfunctional Coomers.
I am not a fan of E-tribal faggotry and couldn't care less if some anonymous individual enjoys something in a different manner than I do, and I most definitely don't want the corners that I visit to indulge in my love for said thing to be consumed by completely pointless gossiping.
