I wrote it because I found it funny and because she deserves it. Coco has offered her help and love on multiple occasions, and EVERY single time she rejects it if she can. She lies about being sick when they get up early for her birthday, she insults her when Coco is honest about her intentions in Deel 5. She shows ZERO remorse for what she has done, and tells her to "get typhus" when she goes off daydreaming afterwards.
If she were to be actually bullied by Coco, it might even help her. Maybe she would realize how kind her sister was to her. She might appreciate Coco then and try to better herself to be deserving of her once more.
I broke down my insufficient system that was causing me to exists similarly to how Maya is and came out better. Maybe Maya could also grow from some trauma. It helped me, might just help her.
