Honestly, it ended on a high note. The ending was probably the best part. I'm not even sure how you would continue the show without it slowly just becoming another slice of life. Not that I wouldn't enjoy that for a while. I'm also not too sure how much space there is for serious development. Maya can't become "gezellig" too fast because that'd basically conclude the show. Maybe we'd get insight into why Mymy has such an identity crisis and it might be interesting, but I doubt it'd be anything earth shattering. And then the only thing Coco has going is finding out exactly what happened to her parents.
