I have been thinking the same. The whole thing where she is both this very smart girl, but is also airheaded sometimes. It doesnt make sense, if you also dont think that she is just playing stupid intentionally. I can also relate to that - trying to sometimes act as an innocent fella, while also experiancing negative events and know a lot of fucked up shit, for better or for worse.
