We all know Coco as a naive and kind girl, but I don't think so, I believe that Coco's personality is a well-constructed mask that she created to protect her psyche after the tragedy. And her smile and not understanding what ADD is is an image that hides a suffering girl who still cannot accept the past and a new family. She can be compared to Trevor from GTA 5. He is seen by all the characters and the player as a psycho and maniacs, but this is just an image for everyone else to hide their real problems and injuries. Coco herself partially revealed her real face in Deel 5 after Maya's words.
