half-joke aside, don't beat yourself up over that, memento mori! always remember death. it's not depressing or nihilistic. on the contrary, doesn't it inspire you that you have the capacity to strive for goodness on the same level as a more prosperous person? they're not gonna bring all that money into the afterlife. in fact, it may even be a temptation that robs them of their calmness! I might be assuming but do you know her personal life? who knows what she deals with, may God help her and you too.
