I've been on the Zarty ever since it's inception, and even before when we only had the /qa/ zellig AI thread and when Zoot originally made a thread to propose our own IB for all things soyzellig. I've seen how much has changed and stayed the same throughout these years, and we've all stuck to the same principles as Zoot has had when he first envisioned the Zarty: maturity over obsession. This was what helped us last against the rest of the splinters because it makes us stand in our own away from degeneracy and low-effort posting.
We shouldn't see each other as enemy, but rather unite for a common good of making zems that withstand the test of time. If we rather waste our time debating on the past instead of learning from it into the future, then what makes us any different from soyteens who have lost their identity for God knows how long? I thank God that we have something to hold onto the future, and not worry about the past and wish how things could've stayed the same. We have the blessing of changing for good for two years now, and with more OC on the horizon, I don't think this streak will ever stop soon.
In conclusion, rather than fighting over what has been done and over with, and in petty things, why not help each other out as brothers who love each other and help each other grow? I'd go for that than "friends" backstabbing me behind my back for things they never said that they didn't like about me. All because I was a chud that the people I grew up with is willing to abandon me for what I believed in? Nah, I'll never allow that to happen to you Zaryans again. I've seen how distrust can corrupt communities, and I'd never want that to happen here again.
