Personally, I don't have a problem with names when they are used correctly (for example when you are talking about an OC project long term or in my case when you are covering moderation topics), but it starts to get annoying when you are doing it all the time for no reason. The point of these forums is that you are anonymous (in most cases) and people don't like namefags, since it appears like they are seeking attention... for the sake of attention. If you wish for more "unhidden" interactions, there are already sites for that.
