"key frame" means the frames that matter the most. for example if mymy raises her hand, the two key frames are the one where mymy's hand is on the table and the other is where her hand is raised; every other frame in between them are filler frames because they don't matter as much. so draw the key frames first, and make sure the sizes of things are consistent with eachother (i.e. mymy's hand shouldn't suddenly increase in size but should be consistent with the other key frame). after you make the key frames, now you will have an A point and a B point, so just draw the frames in between according to where they are coming from and where they are heading. more in-betweens will result in smoother and slower the movement; less in-betweens will result in faster and choppier movement. tl;dr: to make it not jittery, make each frame consistent with the one that comes before it
