I have a feeling that there is a presumption that we are going to do a 1:1 recreation of the mayamails in an animation format. This will be mayamail INSPIRIED. The characters will be original, so we don't have to concern ourselves with finding a female VA (if we do, then that would open up some options, when it comes to how the story is told) or using AI. I could volunteer to VA

I was sort of thinking the same. Although we would have time periods where we would see the main character in his/her room, contemplating about the stories.

there are many ways. we would need music, (concept) art, voice acting, animation (could be only doing time charts and key poses or doing entire animation sets), double checking and giving ideas for the script ect. Content could be dropped either here or through mail. If anyone wants to namefag while droping material for the animation, send me a mail with your IP (to check your post history), a preferred username and password. 
If you don't know any of this stuff, don't feel afraid to contribute. You can ask questions about how to do this and that. This is an armature project.
