I've extended what I'm considering the "introductory chapter", so some of this contradicts what I've already said.

Finished script for first ~75% of introductory chapter
Completed all sprite transformations (except changes in expressions) for first ~75% of introductory chapter, all related bugs fixed.
Improved background art for protagonist's bedroom and Vera's classroom
Mostly completed the background art for the route to school
Improved significantly with working with Renpy and Python; future progress in programming will be done quicker now that I have a good idea of what works well and what doesn't.

The biggest things I need to do are character sprites/cgs/background art. I'll probably start working on the sprites this week. Once the art is done, I can start really pumping out the script. I'm also considering just completing the whole introductory chapter and releasing it as a demo so I can get feedback early on. Making these updates and responding to comments also takes a good chunk of time, so I might do them unscheduled and less regularly than I have been.
