>>21026 no it wasn't okay, maybe on a local level it was "agreed" upon, but that didn't make it true. and what did you want to say with the other part of your post? the celtic church is canonically valid, with apostolic succession, and its saints are venerated in both the Roman Catholic and the Orthodox Church (especially Western Rite Orthodox). the Orientals set up a parallel hierarchy, so they don't have valid succession, and should not be compared with the former.
