Okay cool so I posted this before going out for a drink with some pals. I wish you all would've behaved like I asked… As for the "clothing" on Coco. I only drew this as anatomy practice at first, but decided I could drop coco in by the time I was done. I felt bad posting a featureless mannequin Coco, as it might've been misinterpreted. So I "clothed" her, while still keeping her anatomy intact. If I had drawn proper clothes on top (which I contemplated), then the anatomy practice would've been for naught. I'm sorry if this doesn't excuse Coco's appearance. As for the comparisons to Apop. I have conflicting opinions of him. I can't help but respect any artist that cares deeply about proper anatomy, regardless of subject matter. Unfortunately, since most of the internet has always been perverted, this means many such artists use their art to create smut, which is usually quite degenerate. I like Apop's art, even if he dabbles in AI as well as traces puppet models in Clip Studio Paint. I, on the other hand, have learned in my youth to draw mostly without references, using only my imagination where possible. This picture in particular was entirely mind to paper, without any reference to speak of. I was testing my own understanding of anatomy if anything. The only thing that was heavily inspired from another picture was Coco's face, as the face I originally drew for this image was… less than pretty (it was a sad realization then that I have indeed NOT honed the SISA effect yet). Reading through this thread, though I smiled at some (I hope) joking posts, I was mostly very saddened. After a year of being on the zarty, this is what my dedication amounts to. I had hoped by now I would have had garnered enough trust whereas I could share my art without being treated like any run of the mill hostile offsiter. I apologize for causing this little ruckus. I'll continue using the zarty and posting zelligs until I get perma banned or keel over, whichever comes first. I love you, zarty. I hope you'll still have me.
